This is a shadowy, shaded enclosure almost Three or more miles length wise. Until a great earthquake in 1907, the enclosure had been among the eight sweeping rivers of the Ocho Rios region.
The river vanished during the earthquake and the river bed was converted into a paved street. The thick fern growing has been growing in spot since god knows when, despite this sort of recent start. The gully is part of the road over 500 species of ferns studied and researched then recorded here
